Dak To – Tan Canh is the military base of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam in the North of Central Highlands. In early 1972, there were 28 infantry battalions, 6 artillery battalions and 4 armored battalions. Most of the force was located in the western highlands of the Poko River, forming a temporary defense line from afar around Kon Tum town.

Continue to Dak To, stop at Dak To – Tan Canh monument, where the Gallery 2 the tank involved battles (The red fire of summer in 1972). Continue to Dakto I- airstrip “The hill 42″ Phoenix airstrip (the largest airport in Kon Tum province in Vietnam war, look the Hill Charlie and Rocket Ridge from the Phoenix airstrip. Back to Dak To – Tan Canh.
